It’s 5:00 a.m. and you’re exhausted– rolling out of bed not feeling alive until you ingest a nice warm cup of coffee. Problem is, the coffee that was either timed to start brewing before your alarm went off (hint hint), is ready, but your fridge is lacking the skim milk or almond milk you NEED to choke down coffee that early.

This happened to me a week ago, my solution?


Hmmmmm, should I throw some protein powder in it????





I have a “Vanilla Latte” flavored whey, which I love, and thought what the heck, I’ll try it.



It worked!

You DO have to continue to stir it ever so often so it doesn’t all settle; but that is my secret to avoiding black coffee first thing in the morning when I am out of almond milk! Boom! Go try it (if you love your protein powder like I do!)
